  1. press on black vinyl with booklet. saw the ninth and final Gillan album Magic. As the group was winding down, their sound was softened a bit on Magic. The album was generally accepted by Gillan’s staunch U.K. following; however, it failed to achieve the chart success of Glory Road, peaking at #17 in the UK chart.

  3. Aug 30,  · Gers came into his own on ’s Magic, which proved to be the Gillan band’s final album. There’s a more progressive aspect to the music here, which suited the way the band were developing, and Demon Driver and Bluesy Blue Sea were among the finest songs Gillan had ever done.
